Together, we can make a difference
The Ben & Precy Charitable Trust is a UK charity supporting the acclaimed work of Juntos Por un Mejor Perú, a Peruvian foundation working in the rural Highlands of Huancayo. Juntos is managing three projects for us.
Two projects are directed to families in poverty or extreme poverty with children under six suffering from malnutrition or extreme malnutrition. Over a three-year period, the mothers volunteer to work hard to transform their family lives holistically, improving their kitchens, increasing protein and vegetable intake by the cultivation of hens, guinea pigs, fish and within adobe ´greenhouses, growing a variety of vegetables, fruit trees and herbs. The extremely experienced technical team support people helping themselves with ongoing advice, practical assistance and encouragement.
The third project improves the capacities, knowledge and skills of the rural indigenous woman through workshops, the most neglected sector of Peruvian society, leading to many beginning a family business or creating a income stream.

The Peruvian NGO Juntos Trabajando Por un Mejor Perú serves impoverished communities by providing:
Access to Education – Supplying school materials and tuition support to children from low-income families.
Community Empowerment – Creating sustainable programs that uplift families and promote dignity and self-sufficiency.
Healthcare & Nutrition – Offering basic medical care and healthy meals to those in need.
Support for the Elderly and Disabled – Delivering vital resources and companionship to often-overlooked members of society.
Your support fund these life-changing initiatives among women who have chosen to do the hard work of improving the lives of their malnourished children and themselves, a change that will last a lifetime.
Who we are
The Ben and Precy Charitable Trust was founded by our parents Ben and Precy to make charitable donations with part of our inheritance. In 2025 and 2026, we chose to support three projects of the NGO Juntos por el Mejor Peru (Together for a Better Peru). Our brother has worked continually in Peru for four decades. He knows these projects. He knows the team that is now Juntos since 2013. We invite you to collaborate with Juntos through us in their work for the most deprived sector of Peruvian society: the rural indigenous woman. Two family food security programmes in Year Ending 31 December 2025 received $136,000 (£102,860) towards which we contributed £80,500 from our inheritance. Such is the confidence we have in Juntos and the results the team has achieved in the past decade. We invite you to join us in contribution towards the three projects running this year 2026-2027.
Transparency & Trust
The Ben & Precy Charitable Trust is registered with Charity Commission of England and Wales, committed to transparency, integrity, and responsible fundraising.
We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator, ensuring we uphold the highest standards in charitable giving.
100% of donations, including the increase of 25% Gift Aid, go directly to support the work of Juntos Por un Mejor Perú. All admin expenses are refunded by a separate donation, for example, £647 as defined in Audited Accounts at Year End 2025. There are no paid staff, and minimal marketing expenses.
